My husband and I wanted to purchase a smoker, but had some concerns before we bought it. We don’t have the time or energy to ‘babysit’ a smoker. We don’t want to have to check it every five minutes to check the temperature, make sure it’s not on fire, and make sure that there is still smoke available. We also wanted to be able to use it year round-not just in the summer. I had basically figured that there was not one that was suitable for us and we would simply not buy one. Until my husband found the Bradley Digital 4-Rack Smoker.

The Bradley Digital is based off of the regular Bradley 4-Rack Smoker, except everything on it has digital controls! This means that you can control the temperature ( to within one degree!), the time set to cook, as well as the amount of smoker released into the chamber. It also allows you to hot or cold smoke. This means that I can finally make smoked cheeses at home.

This is an awesome smoker for anyone who has guests often or who likes to cook for their large family. It looks small, and takes up very little space, but it is 2228 cubic inches inside as well as four racks allow you to cook a lot.

You can use this smoker on fish, meats, salt-cured meats, as well as vegetables and cheeses. There are some very good smoking recipe books on Amazon, if you are interested in trying some new things out.

The smoker part of this works by burning bisquettes for twenty minutes. After they are burnt and smoke has built  up nicely, then it releases the smoke into the cooking chamber.  Then you just let it sit at the required temperature for as long as you like to!
