blowout

We all want to have beautiful and vibrant hair. After all, hair is considered our “crowning glory”. We undergo all sorts of salon treatments just so we can up with silky, smooth and lustrous locks. There are so many hair treatments available today. Name it, salons have it. Hair relax, perm, hair rebond, hair spa and hair rejuvenation are just a couple of the treatments that salons offer. But the latest hair treatment today is known as the Brazilian blowout. But what exactly is this awkwardly named Brazilian blowout?

For those who are not familiar with this term this is a new kind of hair treatment that is designed to tame dull and curly hair and transform it into lustrous and vibrant locks. This is loaded full of keratin – an enzyme that gives hair its shine. The keratin enriches the hair and makes it seem straighter and healthier.

The Brazilian Blowout keratin treatment is very similar to other hair treatments in terms of process. If you decide to go to a salon to do it, be prepared to be there for 2 hours. Yes. Beauty takes time. So you might as well bring a book are something to engross you while you are at it.

So what exactly is the process? First, your hair will be washed and shampooed. No conditioning here because this will only lessen the effect of the treatment. Next, keratin is applied to your hair. Then the hair is dried and ironed in small sections. This is what takes up most of the time. Then the hair is washed and blow dried.

The great thing about this Keratin treatment is that it’s a lot less expensive compared to other salon treatments. This costs around $300-400 depending on the salon you go to. As a result you will have beautiful hair. The effect lasts up to 3 months. Another advantage is that it works well for hair that has been previously treated. In fact, it is meant for previously treated hair. This is said to improve the condition of your hair. When you subject your hair to various chemical treatments it strips your hair of keratin which causes your hair to become dry and brittle. This treatment replenished the lost keratin. After the treatment you will find your hair to be healthier, shinier and more beautiful. It gives your hair bounce and body. No more flat, super straight and lifeless hair for you.

Be warned though, this treatment still contains a lot of chemicals. So this is not advisable for pregnant or lactating women. The chemicals contained in the treatment may have serious side effects on the baby. Studies have yet to actually prove this but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Also, this treatment may result to hair fall. But then again, this isn’t really surprising. Almost all salon hair treatments eventually result in hair fall. After all, your hair can only take so much. So the best advice I can give you is that if you just had some other treatment, wait it out.

    - I’m a pretty known hair stylist in Boca Raton Fl, And I use the Natura Organic Hair Treatment System. I think it’s absolutely the best in the market. It leaves outstanding results and even after the treatment has washed away it will leave your hair in a way healthier condition then it was before. Not to mention its certified organic by the FDA. Its best to do the treatment within 72 hours of dying your hair because the product can more deeply penetrate the hair cuticle. You start off by deeply washing the hair with the Natura Clarifying Shampoo to remove all the natural residues from the hair. Then, you towel dry the hair so that is 70% dry leaving it damp, and apply the Natura Organic Keratin Treatment to the damp hair a half inch from the scalp. Leave it in for 15 min, Blow dry 100% dry with medium heat not high so you don’t seal the product before ironing, Then you proceed to flat iron the hair at 450 degrees Fahrenheit in order to seal the keratin onto the hair, with a 48 hour period your client should refrain from any hair restraints what so ever, and should also wait to wash the hair for a period of 72 hours.
