Diablo 3 is an RPG game by Blizzard Entertainment , a successor too Blizzards immensely popular Diablo 2. The game  is set to be realeased somewhere in 2011, although there is still some speculation as to whether or not a 2011 release date will be possible. The hype leading up to Diablo 3 is leaving many game fans on the edge of their seets as they await news of it’s release. The Diablo 3 beta was released only a few weeks ago and is cited to begin in Q 3 2011 (around July).

In  Diablo 2 one of the major factors that made the game so immensely enjoyable for players was the item system. There are five different item types in Diablo 2 : normal, magic items, rare items , set items and unique items. Normal items are simply standard weapons with no magic properties. Magic items have limited magical properties but are still more powerful than normal items. Rare items are more powerful than magic items, with randomly generated magical enhancements that can be quite powerful. Set items are one of a kind items (eg. not randomly generated). Set items usually have powerful magical enhancements, but the real bonus is that the more items of the same set you have equipped the more powerful the items become and you get additional set bonuses, even fancy looking auras for high end items. Lastly, unique items are items that are colored gold, are one of a kind, and general have the strongest magic enhancements, as well as some really cool names.
Between uniques and set items you will find the most power in your gear. Online the competition is insane to the point where if you are not using imba set or unique items, you will fail hard.
