There are a few sales cycle steps that will ensure that you will make a sale to the best of your abilities. These steps are very important and if followed correctly you will ensure customer service, and boosting your stores sales. If not followed correctly then you might lose store sales instead of gaining them.

Step one is to greet your customers. You can do this by saying, hello how can I help you, or what can I do for you today. Greeting the customer  when the walk into your business is important because it tells the customer that you are paying attention that they are there. Step two is to approach the customer and ask them what item they are looking for.

Once you find out what they are looking for step three begins. Help the customer find what they are looking for. Sell them products based on quality and not on the price. This will help you build the trust of the person, and they will come back knowing you gave them excellent customer service. Make sure to answer any questions that he or she might ask you, and if you do not know the answer find an employee that can help answer it for you.

Step four is to finish the transaction and cash the customer out. If you have warranties for the product that the customer would like to buy then make sure you tell them about it. Even if they say no to the warranty at least you tried to up sell the item.

Supply chain management is also very important. Make sure that if you are an owner of a business that you keep the items that sell the most in your store in stock so that a customer may buy them. If you follow the sales cycle steps you are almost guaranteed on making a sale and keeping your customers happy.
