Loopz is fast becoming my own personal favorite game. My kids have been hooked since they got the game for Christmas, but I have been on this thing now for a good couple of weeks trying to get to same level as my 7 year daughter is. I just can’t seem to beat her at the versus mode. I might have beaten her the first time she played it, but the knows the technique pretty damned well now. The game device consists of 4 rings. Each of the rings has a motion detector attached to it and allows for you to not have to actually touch anything on the device. All you need do is pass your hands through the rings to activate them. The rules of the game couldn’t be simpler. You must listen to a song and watch the lights on the device light up, then you must repeat what just went before. Three mistakes and the game it over. This is how the first game type goes anyway. The second game type called “Reflex Master” is a little trickier, you must try and hit the lights on the game as soon as they pop up, the more you hit before the time runs out the better your score will be. The game mode that my kids seem to play the most is the head to head mode (versus mode). This mode has you making a tune for your opponent to copy. Same as with the above mode, 3 mistakes and you are out. There is also a game mode called Music Studio, this mode is brilliant and allows for you to use the game like it was a musical instrument. You can make your own tunes with the different noises, each of which has 10 different notes to it. Thanks terribly much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this review. I hope that you could get a bit of useful information out of it.
