There are women all over the world that are dating guys with horrible fashion sense.  Most of them feel helpless, as if there is nothing they can possibly do to change the way their man dresses.  I am here to tell you that is just not true.  I am a guy that used to dress in a way that would horrify most ladies out there.  From baggy, ripped jeans to old hooded sweatshirts, most women would not have even wanted to be seen in public with me.  But I changed, and much thanks to my girlfriend for helping me through it.

One of the first things my girlfriend did was make me throw out my old, gross hooded sweatshirts.  Yes, I’m talking the ones that I had been wearing for the last 5+ years, the ones with rips and dirt on them.  To replace them, she purchased me some nice V-neck sweaters and they grew on me very quickly.  I wear one at least every few days, and it is amazing how good they look with jeans.

Another new part of my wardrobe that I could never again imagine being without is my skinny jeans.  As I mentioned earlier, baggy jeans were a major part of my life from about 1999 to last year.  It wasn’t that I thought they made me look cool;  I just like the way they fit and grew comfortable in them.  But, alas, my girlfriend bought me some new skinny jeans and they are now a part of my everyday wardrobe.

If your boyfriend wears white socks with every outfit he has, then you need to make sure he gets some new colors.  Some colors that I would highly suggest would be navy, brown, and tan.  Those colors match up well with jeans and a variety of other dress pants.  I used to only have white socks, but I can safely say that I look much better, and it is much easier to actually match with more colors.

These are just a few simple ways a guy can add a little style to his wardrobe.  I see guys everyday that are more clueless than I was, and I was I could just go up to them and give them some advice.  It does not take that much extra effort to dress nicely and look good.  Some things are easy to do, but just as easy not to do, and dressing nicely is one of those things.
