Some people believe that a cheap black toilet does not require as much cleaning as a white one but that is not the case. They need to be cleaned very often to prevent them from looking dirty all the time even when they are clean. As a matter of fact they may even require more cleaning than the white ones.
To get started cleaning your black toilet you will need to get some hot water, a bucket, rubber gloves, toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant spray, paper towels, a clean cloth and a toilet brush. Put on the rubber gloves in order to protect your hands. Depending on the size of the bucket fill it with the hot water. Coat the inside of the toilet bowl with the toilet bowl cleaner and put some of it in the water as well. Allow this to work for no less than half an hour. In the meantime, get the disinfectant spray and spray it all over the outer area of your black toilet. Spray the seat, the lid, the rim, the tank, the handle and the hinges on the seat.
Leave this to dry completely for a few minutes as this will kill the germs. Wet the cloth with the hot water in the bucket and squeeze out the excess. Wipe down the entire outside of the black toilet seat and rinse the cloth. Repeat this action several times as you wipe down every part of the toilet not forgetting under the lid.
After all of the disinfectant spray has been completely removed take the toilet brush and scrub the entire inside of the bowl paying attention to the area under the rim. Flush the toilet allowing the water to rinse the brush. Repeat if necessary. With the paper towels, wipe off your black toilet to remove any water droplets that may dry and leave water stains on the toilet. By this time the toilet will be clean and shiny just like the ones on display at the showroom.
