A cousin of mine wanted to buy a grill for outdoor barbecues and sometimes for use while out camping. Basically he wanted an excellent but portable grill and required some advice on what would be his best option.

Since I am a bit more knowledgeable in this area than him I did a bit of research and found that the Weber Propane Q100 would fit the bill without him having to spend way over his budget.

So how did I come to this conclusion?

When you are looking for a grill, one of the immediate advantages you get by using gas (natural or propane) is instant heat. While the best material for a gas grill is certainly stainless steel throughout, that would have cost hundreds more and been beyond his budget apart from being too heavy to move around easily.
