Most people do not like snowstorms. There are a few categories of people however, who actually enjoy snowstorms. The first category is kids, of course. What child doesn’t wake up in the morning, see a white world and get all excited. If it’s a real snowstorm, they know there will probably be no school and not only that but, they will get to spend the whole day playing in the snow. The second category of people who like snowstorms are probably the sanitation workers. Even though they will be working overtime they will also be getting paid for it, which is always a nice benefit.

The third category of people who like snowstorms are the owners of snow blowers, particularly toro snow blowers . That category also does include someone who owns a skid steer and among his skid steer attachments he has a snow blower. Before snow blowers were invented, everyone had to spend their time bent over with a shovel, shoveling away all the snow from driveways, sidewalks and steps to houses and businesses. Once snow blowers  came around many men had found their new  toy.

If you read some of the reviews on sites that sell snow blowers you will read about the excitement so many of these men express about snowstorms. They have their new toy, the snow blower and they just can’t wait to get out there and clean up the snow. What used to be an excruciating chore has become fun. In the old days the man of the house would more often than not try to get someone to shovel for him so he wouldn’t have to strain his back and his shoulders. With the snow blowers, you would have to pry it out of his fingers to get a chance to use it. Instead of a chore it’s become a fun, recreational activity.
