The color pink is associated with females for a long time, however it has become far more acceptable for males to incorporate the color in to their lives also, particularly with more modest usage of the color in their choice of clothing in particular.

Pink is by far the most popular color to which individuals become attached to. I suppose this stems back to our childhoods where little girls get dressed in pink and boys in blue. Where as boys don’t really become attached to blue as they get older, it is certainly true that a proportion of little girls who love pink grow up to be big girls who retain their passion for the color.

In the modern era of mass production and manufacturing where you can obtain just about any item in any color you desire, it is not surprising that the color pink is more fashionable than ever. In modern times where barriers for acceptance, feminism and sexual orientation have been broken down the color pink is more fashionable than it has ever been before.

Whilst it is still true that pink is considered a more feminine than masculine color, it is also true that where-as previously most men wouldn’t of entertained the idea pink being incorporated in to the décor of their family home, the color is becoming more prominent within our homes in an era of sexually equality.

For example take kitchen décor and accessories, this is the perfect place for the female who loves the color to stamp their passion for pink within the home. It can be done on any scale which is acceptable to both parties. If so desired the whole color scheme of a kitchen can be designed in pink, including pink kitchen cabinets, fixtures and appliances. Such is the wide range of pink merchandise that is available, it is possible to buy pink microwaves, refrigerators and kitchen stoves. Or if not acceptable to the males of the home, a more subtle incorporation of the color can be made by accessorizing with smaller items such as pink utensils, aprons and oven gloves. Whether you like it or not, it not only seems that pink is here to stay (not that it ever went away), its prominence in our lives looks set to grow.
