There are at least three types of discounts you can get when shopping for hairbrushes. We will be looking at each of these, and what exactly you need to do to qualify for it. You will find this information useful if you frequently buy these brushes for whatever purpose. It is essentially an exposition on ways in which you can actually save money when shopping for the accessories in question. And that is just as well, seeing that so many people complain that the amount of money they spend on hair care accessories is too much, and express an interest in knowing how they can possibly minimize their expenditure in that regard. As it turns out, making an effort to get all possible discounts is one of the simplest strategies you can use to save money when shopping for hair care accessories, such as the hairbrushes in question. And the three types of discounts you can get when shopping for hairbrushes would include:

Bulk purchase discounts. If you buy the brushes in huge quantities, you can qualify for the award of these discounts. They are, as such, also referred to as being ‘quantity discounts’ in certain parts of the world. But you actually don’t have to buy a shipping container full of the ceramic hair brush to qualify for a bulk discount (what would you do with so many brushes anyway?). Rather, the meaning of the term ‘bulk purchases’ varies depending on context: such that, in some outlets, a purchase of as few as three brushes would qualify to be viewed as a ‘bulk purchase,’ and therefore a qualification for the award of a commensurate bulk discount.

Practically, what you can do in this regard is, first of all, check to see whether the outlets where you are considering buying the brushes offer bulk discounts. If that is the case, you should try to buy several of the brushes you will need at once, rather than buying each individually and missing out on this discount. Thus, if you are a hairstylist, and you currently need a paddle hairbrush, you can also make a point of buying the cushion hairbrush and round hairbrush (which you’ll need soon or later anyway), and then claim a bulk discount on the grounds that you are buying three brushes at once.

Size-wise, bulk discounts are usually quite modest (typically less than ten percent) — but when all is said and done, the sums you get to save through them are, effectively, amounts of money you’d have otherwise ‘wasted.’

Cash purchase discounts. If, for instance, you pay for the hairbrushes in cash, rather than charging them to your credit card, you will effectively have given yourself a discount. That is because, had you charged them to the credit card, you’d have inevitably paid some interest on the amount of money thus charged. But there are stores which go further, and give ‘cash discounts’ to the customers who opt to pay for cash for the stuff bought rather than taking advantage of credit lines. While the sums of money you save in this way may look very modest, they are nonetheless sums of money you’d otherwise ‘waste.’

Trade discounts. If you are buying the hairbrushes in considerably huge quantities with the objective of reselling them individually, you can claim trade discounts (on top of the bulk discounts previously mentioned). These are usually large discounts: seeing that they are the ones through which you are expected to make a profit. You could get a trade discount as large as 10 or even 20 percent: but that is only if you disclose to the vendor that you are buying the hairbrushes for resale purposes.
