When you go outside in the rain, a very good idea is to wear a raincoat. Depending on your financial value to the world, you can either wear a plastic bag or a class Armani raincoat. Which raincoats you have in your closet are a matter of what you make in your paycheck or investment returns, and paying attention to what you are looking at with those is very important. Where you are at with your money is a matter of figuring out exactly where in your life you took a nose dive to the deep end of poverty, looking back and figuring out how to get out of it.
Believe it or not, you can fix your issues. You can get out of problems that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to get out if if you pay attention to your gut instinct and don’t listen to the giant chorus of crap that people drop on you day after day after day. People like to frighten people, partly because people will spend a lot more money to prevent themselves from losing things than they will getting new things. If you have something you are afraid of losing, you will pay a lot of money to keep it, but if you are trying to gain something, you won’t pay as much.
A great example of this is the way people will pay hundreds of dollars for insurance, but won’t spend a whole lot on non-sanctioned education. The abstinence that many people have from their progress in money comes mostly from them being afraid of losing something, dignity, pride, money, than it does from actually not being able to make money. So stop worrying about it, realize that while it is human nature to be poor because you’re afraid, there are many things that are human nature that you fight and conquer every day, so put it in that box and go out and earn that Armani raincoat!
